The Trip Simulator was one of the web apps I designed and implemented during my work term at Grin Technologies. It allows the user to input various kinds of graphs (Current vs. Time, Elevation vs. Distance, etc.) and calculates the expected motor temperature of an electric bike which can be parameterized by the user using the controls on the left hand side pane. The user can also draw a route using Google Maps, and the app gets the Elevation vs. Distance data using the Google Maps Elevation API and outputs the corresponding Temperature vs. Time graph.
I also implemented the ‘Canvas’ which allows users to draw and modify the input graph, because no other library was available which provided the required functionality.
